Back around 1980 when I was campaining a SP 68 Triumph GT6, George showed up in a Cobra kit car, as I recall. His car was suffering overwhelming oversteer, and each run had resulted in George doing donuts on the track, after fishtailing down several pylons. I asked his team if they would let me adjust the suspension, they said sure, and I quickly disconnected one of the rear swaybar end-links. No more oversteer. I recently called their Machine Shop, and the guy that answered was there 30 years ago and remembered my assistance.
