In the early 1960s, a prize was established in the name of my father: the Alonzo White Memorial Goofstein. It originated from another member, a Mr. Stout, who purchased it for the club. It was a huge beer stein. Ever so often a member messed up and then his name was engraved on the stein and the member had to fill it up with champagne, treating everyone else. Then that member kept the stein for a year. I do not remember the first name of Mr. Stout. Turns out our family was related to the Stout family going back many many generations, and neither one of them knew it at the time. Could you please look up his first name.
